Welcome to the Colorful World of New Moon Textiles! Our goal is to offer you the finest of interesting and colorful fabrics for quilting and wearable art. Ethnic fabrics, batiks, and silk fabrics are among our favorites. We love color and creativity and hope you find both at our online store.  New Moon Textiles Retail Storeis now a "brick and mortar" store. We opened on June 9, 2008 in a lovely 1920's era building in north central Pasadena. The address is 1393 E. Among our ethnic fabrics are those with African themes and Central and South American designs as well as Australian and Asian designs. We carry genuine hand-woven Guatemalan fabrics and silk dupioni and silk noil fabrics from India and China.  Easy Quilt Patterns

These easy quilt patterns offer clear instructions and work well with the interesting and colorful fabrics we carry. We have lots of choices for you including some more challenging projects. We carry quilt patterns from Priscilla Bianchi, Christine Porter, Debby Bowles and many others. Wearable Art  Our wearable art patterns are a perfect way to wear our gorgeous silk fabrics and to incorporate unusual ethnic fabric textures. You may be inspired by one or all of our the wearable art patterns to sew for yourself or a loved one. Wearable art may steal your heart. Be sure to check out all of our tote and purse patterns too! Gifts Do you need a sewing related present for a special friend! Visit our Gifts section for a great selection of beaded items, pincushions, small and large totes and purse. Many of these are made in Guatemala in fair trade cooperatives, which enable women there to be self-sufficient.  Notions
and ThreadsOur Notions section features some tools for sewing and quilting that we have found to be very useful. Also included are items such as purse handles, closures, and trim to add to your creativity. For quilting, sewing, and embellishment, you will find some real treasures in our Threads section.
