New Moon Textiles - Policies


We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express credit cards. Our credit card processing is secure. If you prefer to shop by phone we welcome you to call from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pacific Time. Be assured that if you leave a message, that is secure as well. We absolutely do not share your name, address, or any other information about you with other companies (except of course the credit card processing center).

Shipping
All orders will be shipped within 72 hours if possible. We will notify you if there will be a delay. To request a special rush order, please send us an email.

Domestic orders: Orders will be sent via U.S.P.S. Priority Mail or Fedex. If one is desired over the other, let us know via an email.

International Orders: International orders will be charged a handling fee of $5.00 in additional to the actual cost of shipping your order. Please specify air or ground shipping when you checkout. We will notify you of actual shipping charges before shipping the order. All duties and taxes are the responsibility of the buyer.

Returns
At newmoontextiles.com, we want you to be happy with our products. All orders are inspected before shipping, however we will gladly refund or replace any incorrect or defective item and most non-defective items, provided that you return them in the same state in which you received them (must NOT be washed or cut, no cigarette or other odors, etc). Please inspect your order upon receipt, as returns MUST be received within 30 days of the shipping date of your order. Books, Magazines and Patterns are NOT returnable, due to copyright issues.

All Sales from our Sale or Clearance categories are FINAL; NO Returns are accepted.

Incorrect or Defective Items
We stand by the high quality of our products and service. If we have made a mistake in your order, or if you receive a defective item, we will gladly issue to you a full refund or replacement upon receipt and verification of the item.

Changed Your Mind?
If you receive something and decide you don't want it after all you may return it and we will credit you for the cost of the item (shipping not included). If it is a cut-to-order piece, we charge a restocking fee of 20% because once it is cut, it is difficult to resell. On pre-packaged items, there may be no re-stocking fee, provided that the package is not opened. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us by email, phone, or fax.

Fabric Purchasing Policies
Fabrics can vary in color from what you see on the screen of your computer. If you need an exact match for a color, send us a sample and we’ll see if we can find it.

Using the Shopping Cart
Our online shop is open 24 hours a day. You don't have to sign in just to visit the store. You don't have to buy to visit.

Use the shopping cart to place your order. Select the items and quantity you want to purchase. Be sure to select the color or other options you prefer, if there are multiple options shown.

When you have completed your selections, click on the View Cart button to review your order. You can delete items or change quantities while on the View Cart page.
If you are paying with a credit card, please provide your exact name and billing address when you fill in the billing information. Your name and billing address must match the records of your credit card company. If you are ordering by phone, call us with your credit card information after you have completed your order. We will have a complete record of the items you ordered and of your shipping and billing address. You will need to tell us only your credit card information.

If you ever find any problems in using our shopping cart, please let us know. Mistakes are always possible and if you discover a mistake, please send us an email.

Class Policies

Class fees are required at the time of registration. Phone reservations can be accepted if you use a Master Card, Visa, American Express or Discover. If you need to cancel a class we need to be notified a minimum of (5) days in advance of the class. At five days we guarantee the attendance to the teacher so she/he can prepare for the class. There will be no cash refunds or credits given after that time period. We reserve the right to cancel a class if we don't have the minimum number of students the teacher requires, at that time a full refund or credit will be given. Read over the supply list for the class completely to see what preparations or special products are needed for the class. Purchase your supplies prior to class unless the supply list indicates differently. Please don't bring children to class. Thank you for your understanding.
